We are going on a Whale Watch todahy at 1:00 and staying in town for the fireworks. It's the 4th of July and we're all wearing sweatshirts. Toto- we're not in Kansas anymore. Pictures to follow.
Lobster on the fire last night- Quite an experience. Of course the girls ate Speghettios and noodles. Morgan tried it, but wasn't a fan.

Camping begins
We settled in for camping Saturday night. Great campground- Extremely quiet by 10:00- Because of our late start we had burgers and dogs with the Harts at their campground. Major shout out to Sean and Debbie for being patient with rookies like us. It's got to be frustrating. Hey Tommy T- I did finally get buckled , but only after I tried for 5 minutes and was going to let Teresa drive, instead I drove the whole way.
Jesse- heck with the Indians now we'll see you in October.
Emily is an Acorn collecting machine, and Teresa and Debbie will be getting Whale watching tickets today for later this week.
Dinner tonight will either be at the Atlantic Brewing company(a microbrew) or Lobster on the Grill. I think we decided to go surf and turf for the 4th of July before we head into town for the fireworks.
TTFN.

Almost There
After 15 hours in the car, we arrived just outside of Boston for the night. Driving the New York Thruway was a new experience. No exits? Service Areas? All new to us. At one point, I was going to let Teresa drive, but my seat belt wouldn't come off so we pulled back onto the highway and I drove the rest of the way. Morgan took some pictures with her touch from the car of the states we have passed. Looking to leave about 8 this morning and head up to Maine.
BTW- What's up with the Reds? They're killin me! I guess I'll be a Red Sox fan for a week.

Dodging a bullet
The camping trip is still on despite our explorer being in the shop. The camping gods tried to keep us out of Maine, but you cannot stop the Griswalds. We have many boxes piling up, and everybody is excited to take off. We are on pace to leave at our regular time. Special Thanks to Sean and Tom for setting up the sway bar and working overtime to make it work. Thanks for taking care of me guys.

Big Work Day!
With the cancellation of our softball tournament, it has become a big work day to get ready for the trip! Meeting our tour guides tonight to go to bass pro and pick up last minute items. Looked at the weather for Maine- highs in the 70's, lows in the 50's - looks like we'll need some sweats for the nights.
